F1: Pirelli's Silverstone test concludes
Mercedes and Williams in action at Silverstone as development of 2027 slick tyres continues. The test got underway on Tuesday as Pirelli set about finalising the structure of the dry-weather tyres for next season, ahead of the specification freeze set by the regulations for 1 September. George Russell was on track for Mercedes and Carlos Sainz for Williams. The programme featured screening runs during the morning, before focusing in the afternoon on the most promising solutions through long runs.
