More sprint races coming in 2027 – Domenicali
Jul.8 Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has confirmed the sport will expand its sprint program from 2027. The announcement follows confirmation earlier this week that Monza will host sprint weekends for the next three seasons from 2027. Reports suggest the number of sprint events could increase from the current 6 to as many as 10. 'If you recall the beginning, people were always sceptical of what we were doing,' Domenicali said.
