Verstappen reacts to breaking long-standing Vettel record
Article To news overview © Red Bull Content Pool Max Verstappen has explained how it feels to break a long-standing record achieved by Sebastian Vettel after his victory at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. Verstappen's win on the streets of Monte Carlo was his 39th P1 for Red Bull, meaning that he has now surpassed the number of wins that four-time World Champion Vettel claimed with the team. Vettel enjoyed a period of dominance with the Milton Keynes-based squad between 2010 and 2013, claiming consecutive Drivers' and Constructors' titles. Verstappen says that breaking the record held by Vettel is something that is "better" than he could have imagined when he first dreamed of...
