Perez completes quarantine, still requires negative test

Public Health England has confirmed that Racing Point driver Sergio Perez has completed the mandatory period of quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19. Perez returned an inconclusive test last Wednesday ahead of the British Grand Prix and on Thursday a re-test confirmed that he was positive for the virus. There was confusion over the length of quarantine Perez had to abide by on account of the UK government’s altered guidelines, issued last Thursday, which extended the period from seven to 10 days. It was confirmed on Thursday that Perez has now finished his mandatory quarantine period – but he still requires a negative test before he is permitted entry to Silverstone....
