Racing Point to remain... Racing Point
Despite its plans to find a new name ahead of its first full season in F1, Racing Point will continue to operate as Racing Point. Racing Point was the name used by Lawrence Stroll's consortium when it bought Force India last summer. Under the rules which stipulate that the chassis name could not be changed, even though it is a new team, the team was called Racing Point Force India for the remainder of the season. While team boss Otmar Szafnauer said that the name would be changed before the start of the season - the team referred to as Racing Point F1 Team in the FIAS's official entry list - admitting that he doesn't like the name - it appears the Silverstone-based outfit will continue as...
