The Baku City Circuit Azerbaijan will remain on the Formula 1 calendar until at least the end of 2023 under a new deal between the government and Liberty Media. Baku joined the calendar as the European Grand Prix in 2016 and while there existed a 10-year agreement to hold a round there, the existence of a break clause in the contract led to uncertainty over the grand prix’s future.
