Ericsson backs Leclerc to ‘kick ass' at Ferrari

Marcus Ericsson hopes Charles Leclerc 'kicks some ass' when he races for Ferrari next season, after all, that would look good for the Swede. Ericsson and Leclerc were team-mates at Sauber this season in what was the Monaco driver's rookie campaign. While Leclerc managed 39 points to Ericsson's nine, the latter found his feet in the second half of this season and the battle was more even than the points suggest. But while Leclerc's efforts in 2018 earned him a promotion to Ferrari, Ericsson's days in Formula 1 have reach their conclusion with the Swede off to IndyCars for 2019.
