Raikkonen and Kvyat to drive for new teams in Abu Dhabi test
Following the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in two weeks, Kimi Raikkonen will swap overalls and climb into his Sauber car in preparation for the 2019 season. Daniil Kvyat will also be on hand for Toro Rosso as all teams and drivers test the 2019 tyres. The session will be running with the tyres for next season, the first chance for most participants to drive with the official set of tyres. "Given the limited testing options, every kilometre counts, so it makes perfect sense to have him [Kvyat] in the car, he can also familiarise himself with the 2019 tyres," Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost said.
