Pirelli believe Spanish GP wouldn't have been a race without tyre alterations

Mario Isola believes he and his team made the correct decision to reduce the tread on the tyres for the Spanish Grand Prix Pirelli reduced the tread by 0.4mm as a result of blistering and graining experienced during pre-season testing on the same, freshly resurfaced track.  All the front-runners except Sebastian Vettel ran a 1-stop race proving that the tyres worked really well.
