Force India keen on long-term deal with Russell
Force India could sign George Russell as their third driver for 2018 with Bob Fernley saying they want a long-term relationship with the Mercedes protégé. Russell had his first taste of running during a Formula 1 grand prix weekend when he drove the VJM10 at Interlagos last Friday. The 2017 GP3 Series champion covered 29 laps with a best time of 1:11.047, half a second behind his team-mate Esteban Ocon.
