Vandoorne "not in his happy place" - Magnussen

Kevin Magnussen believes Stoffel Vandoorne is "not in his happy place" as the Belgian's difficult start to his first full season with the McLaren Formula 1 team continues. Vandoorne was promoted from reserve to a full-time race seat in place of Jenson Button this year, but has struggled against teammate Fernando Alonso so far. He did not escape Q1 in any of the first five races, while Alonso made Q2 at the first four and qualified seventh for his home race in Spain, and is on average 0.586 seconds slower in qualifying.
