Raikkonen: Financial situation triggered Lotus exit

Lotus F1 Team Kimi Raikkonen says that financial issues triggered his departure from Lotus. Raikkonen told reporters in Singapore that the reasons for him leaving the team were purely on the money side. The 2007 world champion has raced for Lotus since the start of 2012 but will switch to Ferrari for next season. 'I like to race, it’s the only reason why I'm here and it doesn’t matter [with] which team,' Raikkonen said ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. 'The reasons why I left the team is purely on the money side and I haven’t had my salary. It's unfortunate.'
