Interlagos Speed Trap: Who is the fastest of them all?

Saturday’s qualifying session at Interlagos was an exercise in survival as a relentless downpour transformed the circuit into a treacherous lake. While speed trap figures usually offer a clear picture of straight-line efficiency, track conditions rendered the readings practically meaningless. Interestingly, peak speeds were registered at the finish line rather than at the official speed trap located further down the main straight. In the dismal, rain-drenched conditions, drivers were forced to drop anchor early, braking far sooner than normal into Turn 1 to avoid skittering...
