Hamilton ‘lost for words’ after emotional Ferrari milestone

And when the moment finally arrived in Mexico City, the seven-time world champion was almost at a loss to explain what it meant. "Lost for words" was how Hamilton described his emotions after delivering to Ferrari its first pole position of the 2026 season, and his own maiden Saturday triumph in red, with a sensational final lap that edged former Mercedes team-mate George Russell by just 0.009s.
