When arch rivals shared working space in F1

Back in the seventies, well before tracks offered all teams the luxury of an individual garage, everyone in F1 set up shop in the paddock at their convenience, scattered around the same small stretch of available real estate. There were no real concerns for confidentiality or concealment as teams worked alongside each other and indeed frequently came to each other's help when necessary. In this shot from 1973, which looks like Zandvoort, mechanics from front-running teams Lotus and Tyrrell work in close proximity, separated by nothing more than an invisible boundary of mutual respect.
