F1: Norris welcomes Monaco Sprint
Lando Norris has thrown his support behind the news that Monaco is to host one of ten Sprints in 2027. Earlier this week F1 and the FIA released the 2027 schedule and one of the biggest surprises is that the Principality, known for its processional races, is to be one of ten venues hosting a Sprint over the course of the year. Other than the fact that the Sprint will likely be a procession also - aren't they all - critics claim that Sprint qualifying will compromise one of the few highlights of the Monaco weekend, qualifying for the race itself.
