F1: Audi youngster Slater heading to F2 in 2027
Audi Driver Development Programme driver, Freddie Slater, will make the step up to F2 Invicta Racing next season. The 18-year-old Briton was the first driver signed to the programme ahead of the 2026 season. Entering the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Trident Motorsport, he quickly established himself among the frontrunners and remained firmly in the fight for the title throughout the year, eventually finishing runner-up at the end of a standout rookie season, having collected one feature race victory, three pole positions and eight podium finishes. The move to Formula 2 will see Slater join a team with a strong recent record in the championship, including consecutive Drivers' and Teams'...
