The unique car that will make a special appearance at Monza
Formula 1 is bringing a touch of Hollywood to Monza this weekend as Disney and Pixar’s Cars joins the Italian Grand Prix celebrations, with Lightning McQueen set to make a special appearance and the Mercedes-AMG Safety Car receiving a unique makeover. This weekend's Italian grand Prix 2026 will become the latest stage for Formula 1’s growing collaboration with Disney, with the two brands joining forces to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pixar’s iconic Cars franchise. The centerpiece of the activation will be Lightning McQueen, the famous red race car and seven-time Piston Cup champion, who will make a special appearance at Monza during the race weekend.
