Pirelli: No tire changes for British GP
IT remains to be seen what will become of the private test between Mercedes and Pirelli but one thing the Italian tire maker does know is that there will be no tire changes as planned for the British Grand Prix. The Pirelli team brought a new construction tire to test in Canada but after a brief testing period, the teams could not unanimously agree to acceptance of the new tire. Pirelli said:
'The tyre construction will remain unchanged, contrary to Pirelli's initial plans,' Pirellis said in a statement.
