Mateschitz: Nothing to do with racing
Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz was not amused following the Spanish Grand Prix. Not just because his team was unable to win in Barcelona, but mainly because the current battle in Formula 1 is all about managing the Pirelli tyres. “This has nothing to do with racing,” Mateschitz told Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten aid in Barcelona. “Formula 1 has become a race of managing tyres. This is not the way we should want to see racing. “In the current conditions you can't get the maximum potential out of the car and drivers.
