The Ferrari driver was found guilty of deliberately obstructing his colleagues in the final minutes of qualifying. The German, who was on provisional pole but with other drivers going potentially faster, purposefully parked his car at the exit of Rascasse, pretending a brush with the barriers and stalling his engine.
