Alfa Romeo driver hit with four penalties

Alfa Romeo’s Zhou Guanyu has experienced a painful weekend in Monaco, having been handed four pit lane speeding penalties during FP3. The pit lane speed limit was reduced from 80 km/h to 60 km/h after FP1, putting it at the level it should have been from the start of the weekend given the unusual nature of the track. Zhou wasn’t the only to get caught out by the change, with Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, Williams driver Logan Sargeant and AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda all fined for breaches.
