Brown: Norris matches the talent of Alonso
Article To news overview © XPBimages Zak Brown has branded Lando Norris a "franchise" driver due to the amount of natural talent he possesses, believing he matches two-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso. The McLaren Chief Executive talked up the British driver ahead of his fifth season with the team, as he heads into 2023 as the senior driver over teammate Oscar Piastri. "Lando's a franchise driver," Brown told N. "He's one of those guys if we put everyone in a dirt buggy and we put all the F1 drivers in a race, he'd be at the front because he's got that kind of natural talent. "He's a total star.
