Albon recovering fast after post-op complications

Williams driver Alex Albon aims to be on the grid for the Singapore Grand Prix week's time, despite suffering unexpected post-operative anaesthetic appendicitis-related complications. Albon was forced to miss the Italian Grand Prix after finishing tenth in FP2 on Friday, with Nyck de Vries taking his place and scoring points in his debut. Williams team today released the following update: Further to Alex Albon’s diagnosis of appendicitis on the morning of Saturday 10 September, he was admitted to San Gerardo hospital for treatment.
