Formula 2 crowns 2022 champion: Drugovich seals title despite retirement

Felipe Drugovich secured the 2022 Formula 2 title at Monza. The driver did so despite his early retirement, after which he was forced to watch the rest of the race from the pit wall. Article continues under ad Drugovich Formula 2 champion Juri Vips won the sprint race, with Frederick Vesti and Jehan Daruvala in his wake. Like Drugovich, title rival Theo Pourchaire failed to score any points in the sprint race, and the 69-point lead was enough for Drugovich to seal the title.
