Charles Leclerc's odds of winning Sunday's Italian Grand Prix went up slightly on Friday with the news of several of his direct rivals - including Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz – taking grid penalties at Monza. Ahead of this weekend's round of racing at the Temple of Speed, it was known that Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Yuki Tsunoda would be sent to the back of the grid on Sunday. A new power unit and additional components justified Hamilton and Bottas' drops while Tsunoda's back-of-the-grid demotion has come about as a result of the AlphaTauri driver receiving his fifth reprimand of the season after he drove with loose seatbelts at Zandvoort last weekend.
