Sir Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have not had it easy so far in 2022, but the Mercedes team have been fighting hard. They started shakily in Bahrain, relatively far adrift of the pace of Red Bull and Ferrari, but Hamilton was on hand to claim a podium finish after both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez retired due to reliability failures.
