One lap short from glory but still the moral victor
Damon Hill was the moral victor of the 1997 Hungarian Grand Prix held on this day 25 years ago, just missing out on a sensational win with his Arrows-Yamaha. Hill had endured a dismal year with Arrows, but second place was unfortunately no consolation for what should have been a major upset victory.
