Red Bull names new Powertrains unit in memory of F1 legend

Red Bull has named its new powertrain building on its Milton Keynes campus in memory of Austrian F1 legend Jochen Rindt. Red Bull's new engine department, which is expected to partner with Porsche in the future for the development of F1's 2026 next-generation power unit, is now up and running and getting a head start on the design and engineering of its future hybrid V6 engine. Red Bull's array of buildings in Milton Keynes are all numbered, but its Powertrains unit is called "The Rindt Building" in tribute to F1's 1970 posthumous world champion who was also a good friend of Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko. ©CahierArchive "We call it the Rindt Building now, because...
