Verstappen: Important to keep these really cool circuits

Max Verstappen insisted it's important to keep historical and cool circuits on the Formula 1 calendar that is set to expand into new places, money being the driver of the process. Formula 1 must retain 'iconic' tracks like Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps even if the trend is towards more lucrative street circuits, according to World Champion Max Verstappen. Spa, and the southern French Le Castellet circuit where Formula 1 races this weekend, face uncertain futures with new venues like Miami, Las Vegas, Jeddah and Doha squeezing into a schedule set to expand to 24 races.
