The odd case of Alex Palou, McLaren and Ganassi

Reigning Indycar Champion Alex Palou's top priority remains winning a second straight Indycar championship, yet he has ditched Chip Ganassi Racing for McLaren, in 2023, with an eye on Formula 1. His future after this year was looking awfully murky, while McLaren are increasingly top-heavy with United States-based drivers seeking a foot into F1.
