Sergio Perez hailed his Sunday at the 2022 British Grand Prix, as a great day after what he dubbed a messy weekend where he physically struggled. The Mexican was off the pace in qualifying, with fourth being the best his could achieve, and the start of the race was not ideal as he clashed with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc on the race restart after Zhou Guanyu's horrible crash, losing a from wing endplate, and pitting for a new wing which sent him to the back of the grid.
