Albon finds GP Spain ideal moment to let De Vries drive

Alexander Albon will not be in action this Friday during the first session of the Spanish Grand Prix. Nyck de Vries will in fact drive free practice 1 for Williams. Albon thinks that Spain is an ideal moment. GP Spain ideal moment for Albon and De Vries F1 teams are all required to give at least two rookies a chance to drive a session in F1 in a year. At Williams, the choice was made early in the year to let the reigning Formula E champion train in place of regular driver Albon. In a press statement from the team, Albon says he is looking forward to the race and has no problem with having to lend his Williams for an hour.
