FIA make a decision on Ferrari floor following test controversy

Article To news overview © XPB The FIA have cleared Ferrari of any wrongdoing after the Scuderia used two different floor specifications at an Imola tyre test following the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. While Charles Leclerc ran one floor specification on the morning of Ferrari’s test, Carlos Sainz took over in the afternoon with a new version. This prompted other teams to query the matter ahead of this weekend's Miami Grand Prix, as F1's sporting regulations dictate that new car components cannot be used during tyre testing, and any new parts must have been used on track at some point during a previous Grand Prix weekend.
