Magnussen has compassion: 'It’s kind of tough'

Kevin Magnussen seemed to have no part in Formula 1 this season, until Haas parted ways with Nikita Mazepin. It ensured that Magnussen will be teammate of Mick Schumacher in 2022, a driver in whom he sees a lot of talent. Schumacher made his debut for the American racing stable last season. However, Haas chose to put its full focus on the following year, in which new regulations would apply, making it difficult for Schumacher to perform.
