Concerns over budget cap: "Then the whole system collapses"

Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto has expressed his concerns about possible abuse of the new financial regulations and is pressing the FIA to strictly monitor the budget ceiling. He fears that Formula 1 teams will find ways to circumvent the system, which may still allow some teams to put more money into development than others. His words come after the statements of Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, who states that there are some concerns about the introduction of the budget cap. He stresses that in addition to controlling the technical side, strict financial control is now necessary for the sport.
