McLaren: Bahrain, a disappointing, painful experience

McLaren had a disappointing and painful experience at 2022 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix according to team boss Andreas Seidl. Tipped to be contenders in Barcelona's testing, the team was not even in contention for points at Sahkir. The Woking squad is yet to find a solution to their pace issues they started facing at the official pre-season test in Bahrain that was compounded by overheating brakes, a problem they admitted to have an 'interim' solution to for the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend. As a result the team finished 14th with Daniel Ricciardo – yet to be fully fit after Covid – and15th with Lando Norris, as the young Briton's talents could do nothing against the MCL36's...
