Maylander gets new safety car: 'Almost a real race car'

Bernd Maylander will get a new safety car from Mercedes in 2022. Starting in 2022, the German will drive around in a Mercedes AMG GT Black Series. Mercedes ' medical car has also been revamped for 2022. New safety car from Mercedes Since last year, Maylander can also lead the field during a safety car period in an Aston Martin in addition to his Mercedes. Mercedes is now ensuring that the German can get into a new car two years in a row, as Maylander will alternate the Aston Martin with a brand new AMG GT Black Series from Mercedes in 2022.
