De Vries pleased with interest: 'Impressed'
Nyck de Vries won the world championship in Formula E last season, which put the Dutchman on the radar of even more teams in Formula 1. Although it did not lead to a switch, De Vries is proud of the interest there was. He tells that in an interview with Laola1.at. Several teams considered bringing De Vries to Formula 1 at the end of last calendar year. The driver not only showed a dose of talent in Formula E, but also proved able to withstand the pressure to perform. To De Vries' disappointment, no team decided to go for him, so he has to put his dream aside for now.
