Five senior journalists submitted their respective top 10 lists based on the above parameters; these were tallied, distilled, obvious anomalies purified, and our Top 25 arrived at. The result may surprise you. Indeed, we hope it shocks you: no women appear on the list and not for lack of diligence on our parts.
