Marko on rival Mercedes: 'I would be very surprised'

In recent years, Formula 1 has had two top teams with Mercedes and Red Bull Racing that were almost impossible to overtake. Although the new regulations should ensure that the teams get closer to each other, Helmut Marko expects Mercedes to have a chance at the world title next season as well. The Austrian racing stable managed to win the world championship four times between 2010 and 2013 with Sebastian Vettel, followed by the Mercedes era. Lewis Hamilton managed to take the top prize six times, while Nico Rosberg managed to beat the Brit in his team in 2016.
