Mercedes junior takes important step towards F1: 'Worked incredibly hard'
After a successful second season in Formula 3, Mercedes junior Frederik Vesti is making the switch to Formula 2. This was announced by his team ART Grand Prix on social media and the official website of the team. The 20-year-old Dane will be promoted from ART Grand Prix's Formula 3 team to the Formula 2 team of the same name. Vesti switched from PREMA Racing to ART in 2021 and achieved five podium finishes, including one victory. He finished the season fourth in the championship.
