'Decision for Audi and McLaren partnership scheduled for end of March'
It was recently suggested that Audi will team up with McLaren, while Porsche will team up with Red Bull Racing. A confirmation is still pending, but according to Reuters' sources, the deadline for the decision is in March. It has been known for some time that the Volkswagen Group is interested in Formula 1. Starting in 2026, the new rules for engine manufacturers are scheduled to make it easier for new suppliers to enter the sport. The topic will be discussed at a supervisory board meeting in late February, but the decision will not follow until later. The site's source declined to give a name.
