Hulkenberg: 2022 F1 cars not slower than last generation

Article To news overview © F1 Nico Hulkenberg has given an insight into the experience of driving the new 2022 F1 car, with the German disagreeing with the notion that this year's vehicle is slower than the last generation. As a wave of new regulations come into effect for the upcoming season, the cars will look a little different to their predecessors. The aim is for the new technical rules to make it easier to follow and overtake, therefore increasing racing. Whilst the common view is that the new vehicle will not be as fast as the 2021 model, Hulkenberg did not think this was the case when testing out the 2022 generation on the simulator.
