Volkswagen Group almost over the line: "Would be great to get started"

Formula 1 might just get a new engine supplier in the coming years. The Volkswagen Group is showing interest in entering the sport and according to F1-CEO Stefano Domenicali it's all about the final step. Volkswagen Group almost in F1 The new engines expected in 2026 will remain the same in terms of horsepower, but more power will come from the engine's hybrid system. This has to go from 120 kW to 350 kW. Also, Formula 1 wants to work with sustainable fuel. These are all conditions set by the Volkswagen Group to join Formula 1.
