In 2022 the Silver Arrows will be back

Traditionally the Mercedes team has the nickname 'the Silver Arrows'. During the past two seasons, however, there has been little evidence of silver, as the cars of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas have been completely black. Get used to it For the nostalgic fans it took some getting used to: a Formula 1 car of Mercedes should be silver coloured. Yet these past two seasons the team has chosen to race in a black livery.
