F1 driver standings: Hamilton cuts the gap to Verstappen

Hamilton dominated the race, leading every lap at the Losail International Circuit on his way to his 102nd win in Formula 1. Verstappen recovered from a five-grid place penalty to finish in second, making up three positions by Turn 2 before overtaking Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso. Sergio Perez's fourth place, coupled with Valtteri Bottas' retirement, has seen Mercedes' advantage over Red Bull in the Constructors' standings trimmed to five points.
