F1 freight delays won't impact Sao Paulo GP weekend
Formula 1 teams were experiencing freight delays in Sao Paulo this week, but the belated arrival of some equipment isn't expected to have a bearing on any outfit's race weekend. On Wednesday, half of the F1 grid was still waiting for part of their cargo containers to arrive at Interlagos, according to Motorsport.com, a setback that meant that teams would likely be burning the midnight oil at the track later in the day. "There were delays in freight departing Mexico on Monday due to the weather conditions, meaning some freight is still to arrive in Brazil," said a spokesman from F1 on Wednesday.
