Hamilton handed reprimand for FP1 track limit offence

As expected, Lewis Hamilton was handed a mere reprimand for failing to follow the correct procedure when running off track at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez's Turn 1. Hamilton had run starting on across the grass in the early part of FP1, but rejoined the track without running around the bollard located on the left-hand side as the race director's instructions require. "Car 44 left the track on the left hand-side between Turns 1 and 2 and re-joined the track between Turns 2 and 3, rather than re-joining by driving to the left-hand side of the bollard at Turn 3," stated the FIA's bulletin.
