Starting Grid: F1 2021 Turkish Grand Prix

Article To news overview © Mercedes Here is the provisional starting grid for Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix, including confirmed penalties. Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas starts the race from pole position, inheriting the place after a ten place grid drop for Lewis Hamilton due to an engine change grid penalty. Red Bull title protagonist Max Verstappen qualified in third but starts the race from the front row as a result of Hamilton's penalty. Ferrari's Carlos Sainz is the only other driver to currently have a penalty applied, having also had a change of power unit for this weekend.
